Our technological possibilities – a large casting kiln (3,5 x 1,75 x 1 m) and inspiration in the nature of Jizera Mountains were the main reasons to start the development of a new collection of glass pannels called “Stoneway”. Small paths and with grass covered old ways are the work of people living in past centuries and still visible today creating the cultural landscape, were for us an important and unusual inspiration we realy enjoyed.
The collection is a set of various sizes of decorative pannel for interiors and architecture, made from crystal glass. First we started to cast the pieces using molds produced from vermikulite with good results, but not very useful for re production. At the moment we went back to use standard sand – plaster molds.
